Spectrum-23- Multidisciplinary Art Extravaganza12-Aug-2023

‘Children are naturally, it is our job to give them the freedom, material and space to let their creativity blossom to its full potential.’ Unison World School witnessed creativity unleash in the form of artistic strokes, splash of colours, unmatched expressions, and picturesque presentations during the magnificent ‘Spectrum-23- Multidisciplinary Art Extravaganza’ celebration on 12th August 2023. The interschool art competition held annually is an amalgamation of numerous artistic mediums, ethnic diversity, and intellectual aspects. The competition encourages students to express their feelings, desires, and genuine selves through art. This year, 19 prominent schools from across the city competed in 26 different competitions organised under six categories. Mr. Anuj Sharma, renowned fashion designer and founder of Button Masala graced the event as the Chief Guest. The 10th edition of Spectrum started with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and school representatives. Following that the principal Dr Mona Khanna in her welcome address stated that varied art forms are multidisciplinary and help in the development of the society as they not only impact a person extrinsically but intrinsically too. Reputable professionals from a variety of artistic disciplines were invited to judge the participants’ work and serve as mentors for their future endeavours. The Chief Guest Mr. Anuj Sharma appreciated the school management for providing diverse platforms for the students to exhibit their talent. He congratulated the participants for unexceptional and aesthetical presentation of their ideas though various mediums. The trophy for the House of Aesthete, the House of Xponentia, and the House of Kathanak was won by Doon International School. Hopetown Girls’ School clinched the trophy for House of Memoirs, Wynberg-Allen School bagged the trophy for the House of Isekai, while Ecole Globale International Girls’ School won the trophy for the House of Fortuners. Doon International School clinched the overall Rolling Trophy for Spectrum-23- Multidisciplinary Art Extravaganza’.
