On 18th October, parents and students of Unison World school gathered in the MPH for the Annual Program, which commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Mr. Vineet Panchhi, and the School Principal, Dr. Mona Khanna. The School Head Girl, Shreya Agarwal, delivered the welcome speech and introduced the Chief Guest, Mr. Vineet Panchhi who is a poet, filmmaker, and voice actor. The dignitaries launched two new newsletters: Bizage by the Commerce Department and Leviathan by the Humanities Department. In his address, the Chief Guest quoted Matt Langdon "The opposite of a hero is not a villain, it's a bystander," emphasizing the responsibility each citizen carries to not be a passive observer but to act as a hero, standing up against wrongdoing, taking risks, and helping others. He then recited three his own Hindi translations of renowned poems: IF by Rudyard Kipling, Fear by Khalil Gibran, and Where the Mind is Without Fear by Rabindranath Tagore, all of which highlighted the importance of bringing positive change to society. Mr. Vineet Panchhi also inaugurated the Art and Academic Exhibition. In the Fine Arts wing, student artwork was showcased, featuring paintings in various styles, including Kamkari, charcoal, texture aboriginal, and Mandana. The other paintings on the display were created using watercolors and other mediums. The pottery gallery displayed functional items crafted from stoneware clay, baked and formed using pottery wheel, slab, pinching, and coiling techniques. The Art and Craft section exhibited creative items made from waste materials and scrap, captivating everyone with their ingenuity. The Photography gallery presented a curated collection of photographs, showcasing landscapes, wildlife, and nature that reflected the photographers' artistic vision and technical skill. The entire exhibition proved to be an enriching experience for all in attendance.
