Principal’s MESSAGE

To be an educator is to be able to influence a child's learning in the nascent years of her life – an immense responsibility and a task ridden with challenges. It is so because everything that is learnt and experienced at school will come to define almost everything about the life they will lead.

We, at Unison World School, strive to make this institution a better place for the overall development of a child, taking steps in that direction every day. To achieve this commitment, Unison World School deploys a range of efforts. Our School has a comfortable faculty: student ratio which is maintained at 1:8, ensuring that every student has the opportunity of a one-on-one relationship with her tutors. The campus is designed to accommodate the state of the art facility aimed solely to unlock the highest potential of the girls, both inside and outside the classroom.

Motivated by the power of the girl child and driven by core values of humility and integrity with a resolve to leave no one behind, Unison World School is poised to become a powerhouse of knowledge, culture and excellence. This School is uniquely placed in the system of education to be the best that there is and it is our collective responsibility as students, parents, faculty and administration to realise this potential.

Committed to a promise that ‘Uthenas’ of Unison World School shall keep pace with their academic, sports and extracurricular activities and at the same time utilise a range of new opportunities, we ensure to develop in every child a strength of character so they leave Unison World School as confident and capable individuals. As Martin Luther King Jr put it, “Intelligence plus Character, that is the goal of true education.”

Ms Divya Dwivedi

Ms Divya Dwivedi has over 26 years of diverse experience in educational institutions and over 14 years’ experience in residential girls’ schools. Her last assignment was at Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, as a Vice Principal.

Other than academia, her varied experience encompasses organising and conducting workshops, conferences and leading teams for successful completion of time bound projects and events like the Annual School concerts. Ms Dwivedi has represented her schools in many Regional and International conferences which gives her a global perspective of issues related to the development of a child. She holds Master’s degrees in English and Political Science, an MBA (Finance) and B.Ed. to her credit.

Education, for Ms Dwivedi means, being able to inculcate in the learner an insatiable desire for learning. Knowledge which not only educates but also takes charge to build up the personality, character and mind set of a child.

Resonating with the philosophy of Howard Gardener, “I want my children to understand the world, but not just because the world is fascinating and the human mind is curious. I want them to understand it so that they will be positioned to make it a better place”, Ms Dwivedi endeavours to contribute enthusiastically in the process of learning.
