The Doon School Model United Nations 202317-Aug-2023

The Doon School, Dehradun conducted Model United Nation from 17th- 19th August2023. The theme of the DSMUN 23 was “Where Perspectives Converge, Solutions Emerge”. 14 students of UWS participated in the 11 committees of DSMUN 23. On the first day there were three committee sessions with one-on-one debate and unmoderated caucuses. The second day was followed by four committee sessions. Each committee was introduced by a crisis on their respective agenda. The crisis made the delegates get into a more heated discussion. There was only one committee session on the final day and 8 of the 11 committees were successful in passing their proposals quietly. Each day’s happenings were reported and published in DS MUNDAMENTALS, the daily newsletter of DSMUN 23. Overall, it was an informative and educational experience for the students
