The ‘All India Shree Naveen Agarwal Ji Memorial Inter-School Debate’ culminated with an exhilarating final day featuring the English debate's final round in the WSDC format. The motion for the debate was 'This House believes that one nation one examination is a fallacy.' Ms. Devgan, a distinguished recipient of the Uttarakhand Ratan Award 2021, graced the event as the chief guest. Esteemed judges for the English debate included Ms. Poonam Jaiswal and Nadira Ahmed. Simultaneously, UWS organized the All India Shri Naveen Agrawal Memorial Hindi Debate Competition, where the topic was "The increasing impact of mechanization has diminished our thinking and creative skills," judged by Dr. Rupam Chaudhary and Mrs. Paras Gupta. In the English debate, the preliminary round's Best Speaker was Gurirath Singh Khurana from St. George’s College, Mussoorie. Gauri Nawani of Ann Mary School and Berain Bohra of Doon International School, Dalanwala, were recognized as Best Speakers in the semi-final round. The final round saw Tanvi Bahuguna of Doon International School, Dalanwala, as the Second Runner-Up, Soham Chhabra of Ann Mary School, Dehradun, as the First Runner-Up, and Berain Bohra of Doon International School, Dalanwala, emerged as the Best Speaker. In the Hindi debate, Aditya Devshali of Doon International School secured the Second Runner-Up position, Anubhav Sajwan of St. Joseph’s Academy was the First Runner-Up, and Venessa Paul of Kasiga School triumphed as the Winner. The Rolling Trophy for the All India Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Memorial Debate 2024 was awarded to Doon International School, Dalanwala, marking a notable achievement in this prestigious competition.
