Inter School Doon Girls’ School Debate28-Aug-2023

Showcasing their oratory and persuasive skills, as well as strategic presentation of ideas our girls grabbed limelight by bagging the third position in the Doon School Girls’ Debate hosted by Doon Girls’ School on 28th August 2023. Our girls competed against participants of 31 schools from Dehradun and Mussoorie. The event was categorised in two groups Junior Category (Grades 7and 8) and Senior Category (Grades 9-10). Two students in each category represented the school. The topic for the Junior Category was "Reading has almost become a thing of the past. Should schools revive it? What are its benefits? The topic for the Senior Category was "Physical fitness should become a way of life for the generations to come and schools should start it". Saanvi Sanghai was declared the best Speaker in Senior Category (Grade 9-10).
