Gauss Contest 202318-May-2023

68 students of Grade VIII of Unison World School, Dehradun participated in the Gauss Contest 2023 on 18th May 2023. The contest enables the students to have a broader perspective of mathematics in a fun, accessible way. Intriguing problems and a multiple-choice format made the Gauss contest a wonderful opportunity for all the participants to grow their interest in and get curious about the power of math. The difficulty level of the questions increased from simple to complex in a gradual pattern. Rather than testing content, most of the contest problems tested logical thinking and mathematical problem-solving. Students enjoyed recapitulating the concepts, trying various permutations and raking their brain for the complex problems.
