Video Conference of Generation Global06-Nov-2024

Three students from Unison World School participated in the Generation Global Conference held on 6th November 2024, engaging in meaningful discussions on the topic of 'Peace and Security.' The conference brought together students from various regions, including India, Ghana, Rwanda, and Mexico, fostering a diverse exchange of perspectives. The students from Unison contributed thoughtfully to the dialogue, defining peace as "No War" and describing it as a state of calm, free from conflict. The discussion expanded to explore how peace is impacted by cultural differences and political tensions, with a special focus on the challenges arising from border disputes. In addition, the students highlighted notable peace treaties from their country, emphasizing their significance in maintaining stability. They specifically discussed the Indus Valley Pact with Pakistan, reflecting on its role in promoting diplomatic relations. The students also shared personal strategies for conflict resolution in their daily lives, offering insights into how peace can be cultivated at both local and international levels. The Generation Global Conference was a valuable learning experience for the students that broadened their perspectives on peace and empowered them with insights to contribute positively to discussions on global harmony.
