On April 22nd, Unison World school, organized an inspiring event titled "EcoQuest: Challenge Yourself, Transform the World" in collaboration with AFS, to commemorate The Earth Day. This event was all about helping students tackle big environmental problems, especially plastic pollution. Through various engaging activities, students showcased their creativity and commitment to sustainability. In the "Art for Action: Poster Design & Slogan Slam" competition, participants crafted impactful posters and slogans advocating for plastic alternatives, highlighting the importance of individual responsibility in combating environmental challenges. Meanwhile, in the "Trash to Art: Plasticity Artistry" segment, teams demonstrated remarkable ingenuity by transforming discarded plastic into captivating artworks, showcasing the transformative power of creativity in addressing environmental issues. Additionally, the "Terra-Tapestries: Sustainable Collage Showcase" featured students skillfully blending plastic disposables and biodegradable materials to create environmentally conscious collages, sparking meaningful discussions about sustainable living practices. The event not only showcased the students' talent but also highlighted the urgent need to address plastic pollution on a global scale.
