On the Occasion of World Art Day, the Fine Arts Department at Unison World School organized some Inter House competitions from 1st May to 5th May 2023. The events were conducted under the supervision of the fine arts faculty members. Block Printing Competition. Block printing is the process of printing patterns by means of engraved wooden blocks. It is the earliest, the simplest and slowest of all methods of textile printing. Daffodil House bagged first position, followed by Orchid House and Jasmine House at the second and the third positions, respectively. Portrait Competition The students were asked to draw the front facade of school with line drawing method. Two students from senior section of each House participated in the event. All the participants did an excellent work, and the result is as follows. Orchid House - 1st position Tulip House - 2nd position Daffodil House- 3rd position Aboriginal Art Style Drawing Competition The event was organized with the aim of celebrating and appreciating the rich cultural heritage of the Aboriginal people through artistic expressions. Participants were encouraged to create original artwork that showcased the distinctive features, symbols, and storytelling elements associated with Aboriginal art. The competition witnessed a diverse range of entries, reflecting the participants' creativity and interpretation of the theme.
