APDF 2025- Cultural Programme04-Oct-2025

The evening of the 18th Annual Prize Distribution Function at Unison World School unfolded with grace, pride, and distinction. The occasion was graced by Mr. Anand Bardhan, Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, whose inspiring words resonated deeply. Quoting Nelson Mandela, he reminded that knowledge must be guided by values and character outweighs marks. He urged the youth to embrace change while upholding timeless virtues, to use technology without losing humanity, and praised teachers as sculptors of destiny. Commending Unison World School’s vision, he lauded the institution for nurturing global citizens- young women who, as he expressed, “have been given wings and now must fly with humility.” The evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by Dr. Mona Khanna’s address, highlighting Unison’s pursuit of academic brilliance and holistic growth. Head Girl Saanvi Sanghai then shared her heartfelt journey of self-discovery and gratitude. The Cultural Programme opened with the soulful symphony of Nadbrahma, the UWS orchestra, celebrating the spirit and strength of womanhood. Pride filled the air as the Golden Quill Trophy was awarded to Jasmine House, and the Student of the Year Award 2025 was conferred upon Shreya Agarwal for her outstanding all-round excellence. The evening also marked the launch of the School Yearbook 2025, a beautifully curated reflection of the year’s milestones and memories. The night concluded with Chitrangada: The Journey of Power, Poise, and Becoming- a sublime portrayal of courage, grace, and transformation. Through expressive dance and evocative storytelling, the students brought to life a tale of strength and self-realisation. The resounding applause that followed was a tribute not only to their artistry but to the enduring spirit of Unison- where education is an art, values shape vision, and every young woman learns to lead with elegance and purpose.
