Experiential learning is an interactive part of education where students interact and grasp the concepts well. This was experienced by 58 students of grade VII when they visited the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun on 21st October 2019. They saw the displays of geological maps, charts, samples, fossils and models. A model of an extinct species of giraffe, prepared from waste material was showcased there. A Geological Clock depicting the Geological Time Scale and life forms through different ages was organized and installed at the entrance to the Museum. They even learned about Geo Physics in relation to earthquakes, epicenter, primary and secondary waves. They were excited to see the electronic seismograph and its functioning. The researchers also briefed them about earthquakes in the past. The tour ended with a group photo of the students near the Geological Clock. Overall, it was a good learning experience for the students as they had a lot of queries and doubts which the officials helped to clear
