Admission Process

Registration Open 2018-2019

UWS shall seek girl candidates from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, who demonstrate a desire to continuously learn and grow. The school’s academic session commences in APRIL each year. The year is divided into 2 terms as follows:

1st Term - April 01 to September 30.

2nd Term -October 01 to March 31.

School offers two Curriculum



Eligibility Criteria:

The minimum age of the student, as on 1st of April.:

Step 1:  Registration:

The candidate / parent can request a Registration Form by writing to the Admission Department of the School or download it from the link below.

Direct enquiries and requests may also be referred to UWS Admission Department at the School address or through filling the  Enquiry Form  online.

The filled Registration Form alongwith the Registration Fees of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) (For Students with Indian Nationality) / USD 500 (Five Hundred US Dollars) (For Students with Foreign Nationality), is to be sent to the school’s correspondence address along with the following Documents.

  1. Birth Certificate.
  2. Two recent coloured, Passport Size Photographs of the Student.
  3. Copy of Permanent Address Proof.
  4. Copy of Passport (if available).

Registrations for Grade 5th onwards except Grade 10th & 12th  are open.

The registration fee is not refundable and non adjustable under any circumstances. The acceptance of the registration form and fee does not guarantee admission to the student prospective.

Step 2:  Verification:

Verification of Registration Forms will be done by the Admission Office.

Step 3: Registration Confirmed:

If the Registration form is found to be correct, a confirmation of the registration will be dispatched to the parents.
An Admit Card along with the syllabus, date of General Aptitude Test (GAT)  and sample question papers will be dispatched to the parents.


Step 4: Aptitude Test:


For Classes V - IX Tested on: Proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Class XI Science Medical/ Non Medical and Combined Tested on: (Proficiency in English, Integrated Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning)
For Class XI Commerce Tested on: Proficiency in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
For Class XI Humanities Tested on: Proficiency in English, Social Science (History/Civics, Geography and Economics), Mathematics and Logical Reasoning

Each Paper will be of 30 minutes duration and will carry 25 maximum marks. In addition, students will be graded in their English conversation.

Step 5. Merit List:

Based on the performance in Aptitude Test, a Merit List of the candidates will be declared. A Provisional Admission letter will be send to the parents of successful applicants. These parents are required to complete all the admission formalities, at the earliest.
